What did you even think you were going to do? [Aside from, you know, die. Or something.]

I didn't think about that. When the vessel went down, the only thing I was thinking about were the people I thought were still in it. ( and, thank everything, weren't ) ...but that's still stupid. Even if they were, I couldn't have done anything about it.

["Stupid" is an understatement. The understatement of the fucking century, let's be real here. That's the main point to be pulled out of that, and all she really needs to know.]

And it was really stupid.

[Because, in some ways, this is starting to feel eerily like a conversation she might've had with Prim when they were younger. Before Prim had grown up entirely too fast right before her eyes, when she still needed her guidance.]
